چکیده
Mass transfer efficiency and catalytic reactivity are the two major hurdles for heterogeneous wet peroxide oxidation (CWPO) technologies. To address these issues, nanocomposite CuFeO 2 /Al O 3 was synthesized assessed as a novel catalyst enhanced adsorption of anionic pollutants (catechol reactive red 195 (RR195)) in waters. With positive charge on by introducing Al , promoted. The surface complexation reaction which fits well to Langmuir isotherm, has engined mass nanocatalyst that demonstrated 96.46% 99.75% removal catechol RR195 at pH 3, respectively. also showed good performance various media including binary system real wastewaters. hydroxyl radical aqueous solution played role degradation. CWPO, followed Haber-Weiss mechanism, been accelerated Cu Fe redox cycles. robustness verified negligible amount metal leaching from catalysts along with stable after five Upon observed results, synergistic effect shown be promising degradation CWPO. • Degradation efficient . Pollutants preliminary step evaluated. Hydroxyl plays high stability reusability

متن کاملWet Air Oxidation and Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation for Refinery Spent Caustics Degradation
The work focuses on evaluating wet air oxidation and catalytic wet air oxidation technique to degrade refinery spent caustics (original COD is 250,781 mg/L) in a milder operation conditions (150-200 ̊C, 0.2-2.5MPa). The results show that: in non-catalyst WAO, the highest COD degradation conversion could reach about 75% when 200 ̊C, 2MPa oxygen and 300rpm were used. At every temperature, the react...
متن کاملCatalytic properties of carbon xerogels for wet oxidation of aniline
Wet air oxidation (WAO) is an old process developed in the middle of the XX century, but still the centre of very active and contemporary research especially in what concerns catalyst development. In ideal conditions soluble hydrocarbons can be oxidized in aqueous solution to carbon dioxide and water. Organic pollutants with heteroatoms are more challenging, because they require harsh condition...
